90-Minute Program
Event Desciption
Join us for a special mindfulness celebration of the Summer Solstice, a 90-minute gathering dedicated to honoring the season of light, abundance, play, and gratitude. On the longest day of the year, come together in community to reflect on the gifts of summer and deepen your connection with the living world.
The Summer Solstice marks a turning point in Earth’s annual journey around the sun. As the Northern Hemisphere reaches its maximum tilt toward the light, the sun traces its highest and longest path across the sky. Nature responds with fullness and vitality—plants flourish, wildlife is active, and the landscape reflects the richness of the season. This abundance invites us to pause and appreciate the many ways life expresses itself through growth, beauty, and interconnectedness.
Guided by Alex, we will explore mindfulness practices inspired by the rhythms of the natural world. Through meditation, reflection, movement, and mindful awareness, we will engage with the qualities of light, abundance, play, and gratitude that are so vividly present at this time of year. Together, we will investigate how these qualities arise not only in nature but also within our own hearts and lives.
Whether you are an experienced meditator or simply someone who enjoys spending time in nature, this gathering offers an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and celebrate the season with curiosity and appreciation. All are welcome.
Participating in the Zoom event from an outdoor setting is encouraged whenever possible, as direct contact with the sights, sounds, and sensations of the natural world can deepen the experience and support a felt sense of connection between inner awareness and the larger web of life. Join us as we welcome the fullness of summer and celebrate the light that sustains all living beings.
