Event Desciption
Welcome to this meditation session honoring the Spring Equinox, a time of renewal, balance, and awakening. As the Earth stands in perfect equilibrium between light and darkness, we, too, are invited to find harmony within ourselves. The air carries the promise of warmth, the days grow longer, and nature stirs from its winter rest, bursting forth with new life. Across cultures and traditions, the equinox has been celebrated as a sacred turning point—a moment to plant seeds, both in the soil and in our hearts, for the growth and possibilities ahead. It is a time to release the heaviness of winter and embrace the energy of fresh beginnings.
In this nature-based Mindfulness practice we will take a pause to honor the balance within and around us, setting intentions for the season ahead.
We will gather for guided meditation practice, poetry, and reflection in community.
A Light Exists in Spring by Emily Dickinson
A light exists in spring
Now present on the year
At any other period.
When March is scarcely here
A color stands abroad
On solitary hills
That science cannot overtake,
But human nature feels.
